Planing for a more detailed drawing/painting that follows but interesting none the less.
A mix media of a house that's on my running wrought. I've always been intrigued by it seemingly abandoned nature. Seems more recently someone has taken it under new care and life is being breathed back into it. All the same It's a rough and tumble little house and you just have to glance at it to see that it's got history that is screaming from it's every pore.
I agree, looks like a house with character that has seen several different "lives" with different occupants and is beggining a new one. The green ivy on the ink is a nice touch, gives it that breath you mention.
